Welcome to TSG Funeral Services. These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of funeral services,
funeral cover, and related benefits offered by TSG Funeral Services.
By registering for membership, purchasing a policy, or making use of our services,
you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Membership and Cover
- Membership is open to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements set by TSG.
- Cover becomes active upon successful registration and receipt of the required premium payment.
- There is no waiting period to join TSG Funeral Services.
2. Funeral Benefits
- Within the first six months of membership, a basic funeral package will be provided.
- Members active for more than six months qualify for full package benefits.
- Benefits depend on active membership and up-to-date premium payments.
3. Accidental Death Cover
- Accidental death cover starts immediately once membership is active.
- Claims require supporting documentation and official reports where applicable.
4. Suicide Claims
- All suicide-related claims are subject to investigation and verification.
- TSG may request police reports, medical reports, and additional documentation.
- Benefits are considered only after the claim has been approved.
5. Premium Payments
- Premiums must be paid on or before the agreed payment date.
- Missed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of cover.
- TSG reserves the right to adjust premiums with reasonable notice.
6. Claims Process
The following documents may be required:
- Certified copy of the deceased's ID.
- Certified copy of the claimant's ID.
- Death certificate or death notification.
- Burial order where applicable.
- Police or accident reports where relevant.
- Additional supporting documents requested by TSG.
7. Funeral Arrangements and Services
- Removal and transportation of the deceased.
- Mortuary services.
- Funeral planning and coordination.
- Coffins and caskets.
- Hearse services.
- Family transportation.
- Tents, chairs, tables and equipment.
- Funeral programmes and notices.
- Catering and related services.
- Burial or cremation arrangements.
8. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Submit all required documentation promptly.
- Inform TSG of changes to membership details.
- Ensure premiums remain up to date.
9. Cancellation of Membership
- Membership may be cancelled by written notice.
- Outstanding premiums remain payable.
- Cancellation may result in loss of benefits.
10. Limitation of Liability
TSG shall not be liable for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond
its reasonable control including government delays, power outages, natural disasters,
extreme weather conditions, labour disputes, or third-party service failures.
11. Protection of Personal Information
Personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal
Information Act (POPIA) and applicable South African legislation.
12. Amendments
TSG reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
Updated versions will be published on the website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
